Apply For Our SEP Summer Workshop Programme
We run a PART-TIME PAID SUMMER WORKSHOP PROGRAMME in Manchester around the SEP concept. This part time paid program sees 2 successful recruits embark on the creation of a fictional short film project that raises awareness for a cause. Just like every SEP workshops, the aim of this work experience is to engage young people (but not limited to) through these interactive short film projects that Raise Awareness, Encourage Research, Reduce Loneliness and Promote health/wellbeing. These recruits play key roles in all the stages of production (Pre Production, Production, Post Production and Screening). This programme usually runs in the months of June, July, and August for Pre Production to Post Production, with the screening of the short-film in November/December. Therefore, before you apply for this programme, it is important to ensure that these months are free for you (primarily in the summer months).
To be qualified for this role, no experience is needed nonetheless, in your application and interview you will have to demonstrate the following -
- Passionate about films, short films and/or media
- Extremely organised
- Highly motivated
- Willingness to learn and progress
- Flexible with times and dates in the summer months
- Able to work on your own initiative
- Team orientated and exhibit interpersonal skills
